9. Sweat It Out! Pool Party
Why you should go: Because everyone needs to experience at least one pool party while they’re in Miami. It doesn’t hurt that the crew from down under is bringing the heat; Anna Lunoe, What So Not, Yolanda Be Cool will be at your service providing the dance music.

8. A-Sided Launch Party
Why you should go: Any label launch is bound to get weird and bring out the best in everyone. Throw in Steam’s new outdoor space, Lot 14, the good folks from Dirtybird and a solid cast including Roger Sanchez, Jesse Rose and a host of others – for ten dollars this is probably the best deal in Miami the entire weeekend. 7. Slap & Tickle – Oasis
Why you should go: Slap & Tickle is Miami. When the dust clears these guys will still be here for you every Tuesday night at Bardot and Saturday’s on the roof at E11EVEN keeping the good vibes going. For any visitor that really wants to experience the culture of our city, this is the place you need to be! Oh, it doesn’t hurt that it won’t cost you a thing.

6. All Gone – Pete Tong – Pool Party
Why you should go: Eight years in, the All Gone Pete Tong Pool Party at the Surfcomber remains the epicenter of the Miami Music Week calendar.
Amidst the onslaught of DJ showcases, parties and label soirees, Pete Tong’s pool parties have become the week’s can’t miss events, combining festival superstars with bleeding edge producers of the moment.

5. Smog vs. Firepower
Why you should go: This is by far the biggest Bass event during WMC/MMW. Any fan of filthy dub, monster drops and anyone who wants their face melted during their time in South Florida will be here. Warning: Bring ear plugs, the bass will be instense!

4. Flying Circus
Why you should go: Another list of local Miami crews doing big things. Linkmiamirebels, the resident promoters at our beloved Trade Nightclub and the creators of Underground Story bring you their annual WMC/MMW kickoff day party. If you haven’t been to one of their shows, now’s the time and Maps Backlot is the perfect place to unleash the feel goods. We’re super excited for this one.

3. Odesza
Why you should go: Great venue, solid line up…it’s no wonder there’s no tickets left. If you find any let us know, but this show will definitely be the one people are talking about once they stroll out of there at 5am.

2. Life & Death
Why you should go: Some local Miami promoters PL0T, Un_mute & III Points are putting on probably the best Miami show. Who else would you want leading the charge into WMC/MMW’s last day then a hometown crew taking you on a six hour boat party around Biscayne Bay? Did we mention Tale of Us, James Murphy, Dj Tennis, Thugfucker and Nancy Wang will be providing the background noise. So many disco feels we can’t stand it! This one’s gonna be special.

1. Get Lost
Why you should go: Twenty-Four straight hours of music. Let that one sink in for a second. The Rebel Rave now in its 10th session has been a cornerstone of underground music and Miami Music Week for the last decade. The line-up is insane and on par with any festival being produced, check the roster and tell us different. Anyone who’s anyone will be here. This one’s only for the strong.
