Nasir Jones – the personification, human form of classic. If legendary battles with HOVA didn’t tell it to you straight already, he’s the lyrical King of Hip-hop (sorry Jay).
Now in the latter part of his career, his moves are cementing a legacy that is more than respected.
In April he’ll be performing his debut album ILLMATIC in it’s entirety at Coachella, while simultaneously (whether he wants to or not), serving notice to the generations following – that he’s still the bar when it comes to the spoken word. Happy hunting.
