The year is coming to a close and we’ve been taking stock of the good, the bad and the ugly. Next Monday we’ll roll out our annual top 10 and also do a special New Year’s eve Jumpoff to cap 2012. Remember…we gets down.

As we look forward to 2013, we want to do better by you. We want to bring you better content, more inspiration, better pictures, better reviews — the whole nine. In our quest for better though, we want to reestablish a connection to the underground, to the unknown artist. They’re the artist who lives and breathes for their respective art form. They’re the artist who is on a constant grind. They’re the artist who do it out of true love. They are the genuine artist.

So we’re gonna start bringing you the “better” right now, as we end the week with NOLA hip-hop lyricist Lyriqs da Lyraciss‘s new video (as featured on MTV), “Do it For.”
