“I speak of peace, therefore, as the necessary rational end of rational men. I realize that the pursuit of peace is not as dramatic as the pursuit of war  – and frequently the words of the pursuer fall on deaf ears. But we have no more urgent task.”

John F. Kennedy

Peace will always be something that’s top of mind for us as a human race. It’s hard for me (us) to fathom, how an idea so simple, so pure and so positive in concept – seems to be the most unattainable in reality. It really is not that hard, I refuse to believe it.

And so did this man, John F. Kennedy, and his famous speech about this subject made over 60 years ago echoes the trials and tribulations we’re running through today. Billions of dollars being spent on weapons to uphold our peace, countries going back and forth spewing propoganda…it’s all backwards and in listening to his words you’ll see in many ways we haven’t come much further since that June day in D.C.

The beauty of it all is that you have the power to change that. You always have. This week, spread that love, joy and happiness in the smartest ways you know how.

We’ll provide the tunes.
