“There’s No Place Like Home” | Tuesday Mixtape

Home cooking, holidays, & best friends…the basics are all you need because there’s no place like home

We’re transitioning into the colder months, well at least most of us are. I’m chilling down here in Miami, the land of the endless summer.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about the holidays coming up and having the opportunity to go home for a little. A lot of ya’ll who follow us might not know some of our backstories. I’ll spare you the details of mine but pass along the fact that holidays have usually meant work and having to be away from family for me. In the last six years, I’ve typically spent this time by myself working and with my brother when he came down to chill with me for a few days.

Needless to say, I’m pumped to get back home to, Colorado, to see all the people I grew up with and chill with the fam outside of the confines of Miami proper.

This got me thinking about how I could tie these feelings back into a playlist. This week’s mixtape, “There’s No Place Like Home,” is a back to the basics tracklisting of songs that remind me of being home, prompt my love of sharing music with you guys, and get me excited about the next few months ahead of us.
