The Revolution…

What does that even mean?

The Revolution.

Anything? What do you for a living? What is your life about? Where are you from? What do you believe?

Do those things mean anything to you at all? I’m pretty sure they do in some way or another and if this election cycle taught us anything, all those things should mean a great deal more to you than ever before.

We all got an up close and personal look into about the great American political machine. And I’m not going to sit here and lecture you about the characteristics of our candidates, or who said what to whom and when. If you’re smart, you’ve done your homework, and the decision of who is best fit to serve as leader of this country is crystal clear.

What isn’t clear, is what we’re going to do about it tomorrow. What’s next? We are in need, in no particular order, of a ton patience, a higher level of understanding and a national class on the art of listening. Because this election has opened our eyes to a new way of campaigning, and we the “good” people need to just be plain better about the whole process. We need to change the system, not them.

I do believe our country is headed in the right direction (I hope I don’t have to edit this tomorrow), but we have a hell of a lot of work to do. And it starts now with us.
