Freestylin
Sometimes you think fast, sometimes you think quick. Sometimes you don’t think at all. The art of freestyling is not for the weak, dim-witted or wack. It’s a highly skilled, discipline laden, cipher intense form of hip-hop that tests even the greatest of MC’s.
Today’s list of odd players aren’t necessarily top of mind, but will be once you take into account their speed, delivery and language. The poets of our day don’t play.
Before I present to you today’s jammies, I will tell you I made three omissions that constitute more battle/dis rap than freestyle, but can’t go unspoken of in this conversation. All three will live forever in rap infamy as a snapshot to three of the best lyricists of all-time getting together for some good ole smack talk (this is a future mixtape).
