What a week.
Now if I didn’t say anything about politics at this point, I would be doing you all a disservice (also, you know it’s on your mind). And this being the most important election in the history of the United States, well then I consider it my civic duty as a patriot to say a few words. A very few.
Vote.
If I could I’d tell you to vote early and vote often, but this ain’t no reality show. Tell your friends to vote, tell them to tell their friends to vote. Then tell them again. Tell your Mama to vote, tell her Mama (you know who she is), and so on and so forth. Have no doubt, this election will be decided on turnout. I’m not even going to express my opinion or push you in any direction, I don’t have too. All I’m going to ask of you, my fellow Americans, is take our two candidates and listen to their acceptance speeches. Take them both seriously. Do this between now and November – you have time a plenty. And after listening to them, in the immortal words of Ted Cruz, “vote your conscience.”
The choice (whether or not to vote) in this matter has never been more clear, the moment never so serious. Now onto what you really came here for, the jams.
