By now, if you haven’t seen Netflix’s, Stranger Things, we don’t know what planet you live on.
This story of a missing boy, a telekinetic little girl and a band of brothers battling a faceless monster from the Upside Down has captivated audiences throughout the country. Leaving no time left for chores or fun because if you were like us, you were probably stuck on the couch for a good 6-8 hours getting your fix, in a Netflix binge that will go down in the record books of Netflix binges.
I promise, Mom, we’re being productive members of society and not wasting all our time watching TV.

One of our favorite things about the show is the Music. A great introduction to 80’s synth pop, electronica, and the dusty new wave tracks your older cousin used to jam to in his ’86 Firebird.
In the spirit of Stranger Things, we decided to make a playlist of our own. Not one of these fluffy 80’s mixtapes that you hand to your high school crush in between third period. But one that celebrates the darker side of, Stranger Things. The one filled with Demogorgons, evil spirits, and bad vibes.
This week’s mixtape, the Upside Down, converges with this alternate universe in what’s sure to be an epic battle of bass and destruction.
