“I get slower every year I’m afraid. But again, it’s just another challenge.”

That was the response from one of the older gents in this short film,The Runners, when asked if he got slower as he aged. He simply owns it.

The film by Matan Rochlitz and Ivo Gormley hits runners while in the act with intimate life questions. Birth, sex, depression are just a few of the topics covered, highlighting the ups and downs we all experience. What I love most about running is that it forces you to examine your life, but in a clear, usually unbiased way, so when you get back to living it — you’re that much more prepared.

This week we feature a review of local Brooklyn act Prinz Carlson and an uplifting interview with the alt pop rockers Two Cheers.

Get on your challenges.
